From mid May to Mid June there is something extraordinary going on in Denver Colorado. There is an Iris “Festival” at Iris 4 U Gardens. The entire garden is dedicated to beaarded irises. They are in all sizes, colors and hybrids.
This was our third trip to a Sandals Resort. Each had something different to offer that makes each one unique. There are gorgeous gardens woven throughout the resort. Flowers bloom all year long. There are ten restaurants at this Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island. Just a 5 minute boat ride away is the Offshore Island. Don’t miss this. While the whole island is not Sandals property they have all you need for a great time.

Colorado Springs is home to the United States Air Force Academy. Every May we get a spectacular free air show as the cadets graduate and the Thunderbirds pay tribute to the graduates!
There are 365 islands or cays in the Exumas which are a part of the Bahamas in the Caribbean. The photos in this gallery were shot on Saddleback Cay with its beautiful waters, beaches, lagoon with sharks & rays. Other photos were shot on Leaf Cay with over 500 friendly iguanas.
Most of the photos in this sideshow were taken on Cape Ann, Massachusetts. This includes the towns of Rockport & Gloucester. Some photos were shoton Plum Island and Maine.
Rocky Mountain doesn’t have only one season to enjoy. This is an all season park with views that change with each season. Like winter with deep snow, spring’s melting snow and new growth, summer’s wildflowers and fall’s golden aspens. The mountains are some of the most spectacular you will see on the continental US. St. Lucia is “simply beautiful” as the locals say and for good reason. This is an island with hills, mountains, tropical jungles and gorgeous beaches. The Denver Botanic Gardens are rich in variety, sizes, shapes, colors and smells. It is a peaceful place to take pictures in the big city of Denver. I grew up in the town of Warren, Michigan, just north of Detroit, but this is not about Warren and when I was born my parents bought a piece of land in Greenbush, Michigan, on Lake Huron. Shortly after that they built a small cabin which my mother still owns today. I have fond memories of weekends and summers spent up north at the cabin. We have lived in several places around the country like Palmer, Massachusetts, Phoenix, Arizona, and our home for the last 16 years Colorado Springs, but I always look forward to a visit to the cabin up north in Greenbush. The photos in this gallery were taken in Northern Michigan which includes the areas around the towns of Oscoda, Greenbush, Harrisville, Presque Isle, Travers City, Northport and The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. I hope you enjoy the photos of my home in Michigan. My next trip to Michigan. I plan to travel to the upper Peninsula and the North Shore of Lake Superior in Canada.
