When I’m not out traveling or photographing this beautiful country of ours, I love to pull out my photography magazines to help keep me up to date with the latest photo gear, tips, tricks, and how to articles. “Outdoor Photographer” is my favorite magazine as it perfectly suits my passion for travel and outdoor photography. The “In Focus” section covers the latest in photo gear, software and other gear related to outdoor photography. “Books ‘N Such” details a mixture of photography related items from printed media, accessories and must haves for the avid photographer. There are interesting articles by Bob Krist, travel photographer, tech tips by George Lepp with Q&A’s and much more. Of course, every issue has beautiful photographs and detailed descriptions of how they were shot. “Outdoor Photographer” magazine is perfect for the photographer who wants to improve their photography of the great outdoors.
I also like “Popular Photography” and “Shutterbug” magazines. These 2 magazines cover a broad range of subjects from software and photography articles with how to sections, product reviews and always impressive photography. If it has to do with photography, these magazines will keep you up to date with the latest information.
