About Doug

Doug has been a photographer for over 35 years.  He started with landscapes and ventured into underwater photography in 1991.  Living in Michigan, Massachusetts, Arizona and Colorado has provided a large diversity of material to shoot.  The changing seasons of the year; the old of New England, the deserts of Arizona, the lakes of Michigan and the mountains of Colorado have been bountiful sources.

Doug started with film and is now full-fledged digital.  He loves the flexibility of the medium and the instant results availability.   With all the computer based products such as Photoshop Lightroom and Elements he has been able to work with older and less than perfect pictures to repair blemishes and enhance the quality.

While Doug is our photographer, Cyndy concentrates on the travel and product reviews, stories and tips.  (www.dcmtravelreviews.com)   Doug comes up with the ideas for our website and does all the design, building and maintenance on the site.

Our travels have included many places throughout the United States.  We look forward to our continuing discovery of our country.  We have been fortunate to be able to extend our travels outside of the US to Canada, Mexico, St. Lucia, Martinique, Tahiti, Honduras , Turks & Caicos and our 30^th anniversary trip to the Bahamas.
