About Doug

Doug has been a pho­tog­ra­pher for over 35 years.  He started with land­scapes and ven­tured into under­wa­ter pho­tog­ra­phy in 1991.  Liv­ing in Michi­gan, Mass­a­chu­setts, Ari­zona and Col­orado has pro­vided a large diver­sity of mate­r­ial to shoot.  The chang­ing sea­sons of the year; the old of New Eng­land, the deserts of Ari­zona, the lakes of Michi­gan and the moun­tains of Col­orado have been boun­ti­ful sources.

Doug started with film and is now full-fledged dig­i­tal.  He loves the flex­i­bil­ity of the medium and the instant results avail­abil­ity.   With all the com­puter based prod­ucts such as Pho­to­shop Light­room and Ele­ments he has been able to work with older and less than per­fect pic­tures to repair blem­ishes and enhance the quality.

While Doug is our pho­tog­ra­pher, Cyndy con­cen­trates on the travel and prod­uct reviews, sto­ries and tips.  (www.dcmtravelreviews.com)   Doug comes up with the ideas for our web­site and does all the design, build­ing and main­te­nance on the site.

Our trav­els have included many places through­out the United States.  We look for­ward to our con­tin­u­ing dis­cov­ery of our coun­try.  We have been for­tu­nate to be able to extend our trav­els out­side of the US to Canada, Mex­ico, St. Lucia, Mar­tinique, Tahiti, Hon­duras , Turks & Caicos and our 30^th anniver­sary trip to the Bahamas.
