Nassau Bahamas Underwater

If you like wreck diving you will love Nassau, New Providence Island in the Bahamas. This area is where movie films such as James Bond’s Thunderball and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea were shot. Some of the photos in this gallery were taken at the plane and shipwreck sets of  the James Bond movie Thunderball.

Around Nassau in the Bahamas

The photos in this gallery were taken around the island of New Providence,  Nassau in the Bahamas.  Some of the pictures were taken at the Botanical Gardens and Zoo. They have a great collection of birds and flowers. This zoo is home to the famous marching flamingos.  The other photos in this gallery were taken on Paradise Island. This includes a few shots of the Atlantis Hotel and The Cloister which is  a 12th century French stone monastery and gardens  imported by William Randolph Hearst.

Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island

This was our third trip to a Sandals Resort. Each had something different to offer that makes each one unique.  There are gorgeous gardens woven throughout the resort.  Flowers bloom all year long. There are ten restaurants at this Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island. Just a 5 minute boat ride away is the Offshore Island.  Don’t miss this.  While the whole island is not Sandals property they have all you need for a great time. Exuma Islands Bahamas

There are 365 islands or cays in the Exumas which are a part of the Bahamas in the Caribbean. The photos in this gallery were shot on Saddleback Cay with its beautiful waters, beaches, lagoon with sharks & rays. Other photos were shot on Leaf Cay with over 500 friendly iguanas.
