Last Christ­mas 2010 was our 8th trip to Cozumel and our 6th to the Iberostar Cozumel dive resort. This resort is the last resort on the south side of the island.  It was strange being, not only away at Christ­mas,  but also in the Mex­i­can par­adise of Cozumel.  Where’s the snow?  Where’s the cold weather?   Well, Santa did show up and Christ­mas Eve din­ner was fan­tas­tic with all you can eat lob­ster and shrimp! Yum­m­mmm lob­ster.  What a feast!

Most dive sites are no more than 5 to 15 min­utes by boat and a cou­ple are right in front of the resort.  We love the on site dive oper­a­tor, Dres­sel Divers, a 5 star PADI oper­a­tion. Che, our dive mas­ter for the week, did a great job show­ing us all the cool sea life. and kept us laugh­ing the whole time.  So, if you get a chance to dive at the Iberostar Cozumel say “hi” to Che and all the rest of the staff at Dres­sel Divers from Doug & Cyndy.  Che is the one with the Christ­mas hat in video below.
