As a photographer, I think there are lots of people like my wife that would like to know what any photographer would like to find under the tree. So here’s a list that, as a photographer, I would like or, for that matter, any photographer would like. I’ll be adding to this list as Christmas gets closer so come back every once in a while and see what’s new. I hope this list helps those people with a photographers in there life. One more thing — please leave a comment with your suggestions for this list and we’ll make this a really BIG list!!  I’d love to see what things you photographers out there would like to receive as gifts yourselves!!

Perfect Composition VideoPerfect Composition — Great photos speak of great things and sometimes those great things are enhanced by the composition of the subject.

Tim Cooper, in easy to understand English, teaches you how to transform your images in photos that can resemble the work of top notch pro photographers. With a few simple rules (some of which can be broken), your images will be taken to the next level. And, by using the basics of photography — shutter speed, aperture and focal length, images that used to be run-of-the-mill, will start “singing”. 10/29/2010

Perfect Exposure VideoPerfect Exposure for Digital Photography - This video will change the way you use your camera. Understanding the zone system is essential for capturing great photos. Ones that look the way you always wanted. If you just leave metering to the camera, your photos will look dull and flat. Start getting your exposures right and your photographs will be crisp and full of detail and depth. Become a better photographer… a much better photographer, in just over an hour. You can even use your cameras built in meter. Tim makes it so easy, you’ll laugh. 10/29/2010

Montain Rainges Of Colorado - John FielderPublished to celebrate the 40th anniversary of America’s Wilderness Act, instituted in 1964, this volume contains large-format color photos of the wealth of peaks, pristine alpine lakes and meadows, rocky cliffs, creeks, and waterfalls of Colorado’s mountain ranges. The photos were taken by Fielder, the founder of Westcliffe, and a remarkably devoted hiker, given the impressive number, size, and altitude of the places included. He has included often chatty descriptive captions for each photo. The names of the ranges appear on a clear sheet that lays over a map at the beginning of the book. The volume, which has faux-granite covers, is oversize: 13.25x12.25″. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
